We believe your financial situation should not hinder your leadership journey. Therefore, we provide financial aid opportunities to those who require it.

We determine financial aid recipients and the amounts of aid based on four criteria

  • Your academic background
  • Admission test result at BYLC
  • Your family’s financial circumstances
  • Availability of our fund

If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please inform us during your interview or directly to the Admissions Committee through email at admissions@bylc.org. Once we receive your request, we will email you an online financial aid application form. The Admissions Committee will verify your need for financial aid and inform you about your status.

How are students selected?

Admission into a BYLC program is highly competitive. Our Admissions Committee looks at your application in a holistic manner. Along with academic excellence, we assess your understanding of leadership, critical thinking ability, and communication skills.

It should be noted, when making final selections, we try and maintain diversity in our candidate pool. This diversity is in terms of gender, ability, educational background (Bengali medium, English medium, and Madrassa curriculum), academic experience, institutional variation, and geographic location.

When will I find out if I am selected?

Confirmations vary depending on the program and the number of applications we receive. We usually respond within three weeks of the application deadline. We contact applicants via e-mail, SMS, and phone calls, so please make sure to check regularly for updates.

Am I eligible for financial aid?

We provide financial aid on a need basis. If you can demonstrate high achievement in academics, excel in the BYLC admissions rounds, show your family’s financial circumstances you will be considered for financial aid.

How can I apply for financial aid?

If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please inform us during your interview or directly to the Admissions Committee through email at admissions@bylc.org. Once we receive your request, we will email you an online financial aid application form.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If you complete the registration process but cannot join the program for a valid reason, then you will be eligible for the refund if you apply for the refund in time. If you withdraw 14 working days before program commencement, 90% of the registration fee will be refunded. If you withdraw 6 days before program commencement, there will be no refund, as it will be too late to offer a seat to another student.

How do I get in touch with my Campus Ambassador?

BYLC has 64 Campus Ambassadors representing 10 educational institutions in Bangladesh. You can find the Campus Ambassador at your institution and meet him/her in-person to know more about our programs and other relevant information.
