The Office of Professional Development (OPD) was established in 2016 to address
the glaring lack of effective career guidance services for university students, and to equip BYLC
graduates with the professional skills required for the 21st century workplace. OPD also provides
placement services for BYLC graduates via partnerships with top employers.
Using a holistic curriculum that draws from both academia and industry, the OPD conducts two-day
professional development workshops which helps participants think strategically about their career
choices and successfully navigate through the different stages of recruitment.
Eligibility: Any graduate of BYLC leadership programs
