The <\/span>BYLC Alumni Iftar<\/b> is a cherished annual tradition organized by the <\/span>BYLC Graduate Network (BGN)<\/b>, the alumni association of the <\/span>Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC)<\/b>. BYLC, Bangladesh’s pioneering leadership institute, equips young people from diverse backgrounds with 21st-century skills in leadership, employability, and entrepreneurship, while fostering values like empathy, tolerance, and inclusiveness.<\/span><\/p>

We arrange this Iftar to embody the spirit of <\/span>Ramadan<\/b>, a time of reflection, gratitude, unity, and community. It brings together BYLC graduates (alumni), former colleagues, and sometimes distinguished guests for an evening of breaking the fast together. Beyond the shared meal, the event strengthens lifelong bonds formed during BYLC programs, reconnects people who may have drifted apart due to busy lives, and celebrates the shared journey of personal and societal growth. In a world often divided, this gathering reinforces the BYLC ethos: leadership isn’t about titles but about building inclusive communities and exercising positive impact. Past events, like the 2024 Chattogram Iftar, have shown how these evenings create lasting memories through good food, meaningful conversations, and renewed relationships.<\/span><\/p>

From my perspective as someone deeply involved in the preparations, the experience has always been profoundly rewarding. Previous Iftars have been filled with warmth, alumni sharing stories of how BYLC training helped them navigate careers, lead initiatives, or contribute to society. The energy is electric: laughter echoes, old friendships rekindle, and new connections form over dates, iftar delicacies, and prayers. It’s a reminder that the BYLC community is more than an alumni network; it’s a family united by common values and purpose. The sense of gratitude and belonging lingers long after the event ends.<\/span><\/p>

For this year’s Alumni Iftar 2026, we’re organizing it with excitement and care. Hosted by the BYLC Graduate Network and supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.<\/span><\/p>
