About CareerX

CareerX is an extensive month-long professional development program designed to help graduates and young professionals get the best start possible with their professional lives. The program covers essential topics pertinent for the modern workplace, including communication, management, operations, intrapreneurship, and more. Video-based online modules are supplemented with instructor-led, in-person, and virtual sessions, as well as weekly capstone projects to ensure a truly meaningful learning experience.

CareerX is designed to help fresh graduates and young professionals get the best start possible in their professional lives. This program covers essential topics pertinent to the modern workplace, including career planning, resume writing, interview preparation, communication, presentation, case cracking, data analysis, and much more. You will also learn essential theories and skills that will help you exercise leadership within your organization. 

Third- and fourth-year undergraduate students and postgraduate students from any accredited university in Bangladesh are eligible to apply. University graduates looking for job opportunities and young professionals with less than two years of job experience can also apply. 

Selected participants will have to pay BDT 1,000 to register for CareerX after successfully completing the admission process.  

Financial aid will be available to participants with demonstrated financial need.

Selected participants will have the option to pay either by an account payee cheque, bKash, or pay order drawn in favor of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center. No cash payment will be accepted. 

You will be required to pay the registration fee if you pass the application process and after you are shortlisted for the program. 

The admission process is quite competitive. All the applications will be reviewed by the admissions team in the first round. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the second round of assessment, which will include a one-on-one interview. Only shortlisted applicants will be selected to participate in the CareerX program. 

We try our best to support the development of youth. However, due to resource constraints, we will not be able to provide individual feedback to applicants who will not be invited for the second round of assessments. If you are selected for the second round and do not make it to the final pool of selected participants, we will be happy to share with you a scanned copy of your assessment form with comments from the interview board members. 

As a participant, you will be required to attend every session of the program to receive the certificate. The program structure is designed in such a way that it builds on the concepts covered in the previous sessions. The overall experience will be most valuable for you if you are present in all the sessions of the program. However, if due to any emergency you are unable to attend any of the sessions, you will need to inform the facilitator or instructor beforehand. 

No, you will not be able to attend the program without registering as a participant.

The sessions will be offered in a blended approach, including online classes and physical classes as well as through BYLC’s online learning platform, BYLCx.
