Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (media/communications/marketing preferred)
More than one year of full-time work experience in communications (additional experience in marketing will be given preference)


The prime responsibility of the Senior Executive is to manage social media communications and assist the Manager and Deputy Manager of the team to track and maintain day-to-day activities of the department.


  • Undertake copywriting for communications materials, online content (website), and social media
  • Coordinate marketing and communications work between different departments and ensure relevant updates and news are communicated efficiently to external stakeholders
  • Manage BYLC’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.
  • Author, supervize, and produce external communications, including newsletters, emails, press releases, blog posts, annual reports, program brochures, and other publications
  • Support project teams in the planning and execution of BYLC programs and events
  • Design and implement a social media strategy to align with organizational goals
  • Create, curate, and manage any and all published content
  • Develop community outreach and engagement strategies for programs and events
  • Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager of the team to track and maintain day-to-day activities of the department
  • All other duties ancillary to and related to the above-mentioned duties



  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (media/communications/marketing preferred)

Required technical skills:

  • Strong written and verbal skills in English
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla
  • Social media management
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications
  • Ability to work well in teams and coordinate with other departments
  • Knowledge of digital marketing will be an added advantage
