Asif is working as the Assistant Manager in the Office of Professional Development (OPD) team at Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC). He is actively contributing in developing placement programs by creating strategic relationships with the employers. He is also involved in developing strategies to brand Office of Professional Development among employers and associated stakeholders.

He has been involved in designing and implementing Training & Learning related programs for more than seven years and has developed some unique skills-sets comprise of Training Need Assessment, Training Administration & Operations, Training Sales & Marketing and Training
Business Development.

He started his career as an Event Coordinator of a US based organization back in 2013 before graduating from Institute of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University. He has designed and implemented some youth skill and capacity development program like Excelerious 2016  and  CineQ 2016  which engaged thousands of youth for developing skills and capacity. He had an experience in working with SNV Bangladesh (a Nederland based International NGO) in one of their largest youth engagement program named “Young Filmmakers in Development
Sector” in 2015.

Besides, Asif has an excellent education track record. He has secured Government scholarships (based on merit) in each year in University, stood 4th in Dhaka board in Higher Secondary Examination and 19th in Dhaka zone in Junior Scholarship examination. He has the championship
in Dhaka region in HSBC – Prothom Alo Vasha Protijog in 2008.

He is a graduate of BBLT 5, has attended BYLC’s Youth Leadership summit of 2011 and 2012, and was also a facilitator at the 2016 Summit. He is passionate in designing capacity development programs which can create a sustainable impacts and can bring positive changes.

Asif likes to play Guitar, composing piece in harmonic scales. He loves travelling, exploring nature and observing people. He loves to take challenges and has a risk taking attitude.
