Hasib Al Mamun Sumon is currently working as a senior executive in the marketing and communication team at BYLC. His core responsibilities include leading campus marketing and outreach activities for BYLC’s leadership training programs; recruiting and mentoring campus ambassadors across Bangladesh; and supervising logistical work for campus marketing campaigns. 

Hasib has been with BYLC since 2016. A graduate of the Art and Practice of Leadership workshop, he served as the president of the BYLC Graduate Network (BGN) from 2017-2018 and as a campus ambassador in 2016.

Hasib’s passion lies in organizing, developing, and executing projects for social inclusion, justice, and rural development. He is trained from the Hunger Project and the British Council on social project design and implementation. He established a specialized school for the Harijan community in 2014, and worked as the education secretary in Nobojagoron Foundation, which was acknowledged by the CRI with the Joy Bangla Award in 2015 and by Ashoka with the Best Social Project Award in 2016.

Hasib holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from the University of Rajshahi, where he served as the vice-president of the Higher Study Club. He believes that providing quality education and justice in rural areas will guide Bangladesh to achieve inclusiveness.
