Md. Touhidul Imran Chowdhury is the manager of the operations and RME team at BYLC. His core responsibilities include day-to-day operational management; project implementation; human resource management; administrative coordination; and budgeting.

Prior to joining BYLC, he worked as the strategic management consultant for Massive, Inc., a technology consultancy firm in New York, where he co-founded a tech start-up called autopilot.life. He also worked at mPower, a technology-based global social enterprise, as a research, development, and communications coordinator, where he designed and implemented various ICT4D initiatives in education, health, and agricultural sector, and coordinated media, communications and branding activities. He was previously involved with Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) and Business & Finance Consulting (GmbH), Switzerland, as a research consultant. He had also worked with Mobile Helping Babies Breathe (mHBB) in Kenya as their technology development intern, and developed a mHealth app to collect real-time data in 24 hospitals.

He represented Bangladesh in the sixth Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations headquarters in 2009, and participated in the Harvard World Model United Nations in the Netherlands in the same year. 

Touhidul completed his master’s in international development and social change from Clark University, USA, as an IDCE Fellow, and bachelor’s in environmental science and management with a minor in media and communication from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).

He lives with his wife and two children in Dhaka. He loves cooking, networking, and adventure in his spare time.
