Nuzhat Ibnat Faruki is a research assistant in the research, monitoring and evaluation (RME) team of BYLC. Her core responsibilities include assisting in updating and managing project databases; conducting pre-and post-program evaluations of all on-going programs; cleaning, sorting, categorizing and organizing data from program evaluations; analysing and presenting quantitative and qualitative data for programmatic improvements and assisting in preparing project progress
reports.

Prior to joining BYLC, Nuzhat worked as a content writer for The Prestige Magazine. She wrote articles on relevant issues under the subfields of business and economics.

Nuzhat graduated summa cum laude from BRAC University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Her studies were concentrated in econometrics and mathematics and she also completed a minor in
business administration.

Nuzhat has a keen interest in economic research and policy-making. She is particularly passionate about gender equality and actively advocates for women empowerment.
