About

Taieba Hosne Ishrat is the deputy manager in the research, monitoring and evaluation (RME) team of BYLC. Her core responsibilities include designing an effective monitoring and evaluation system to reach the project goals; developing monitoring and impact indicators for project success; and generating new ideas for future program development through data-driven insight.

Prior to joining BYLC, Taieba worked at Keystone Business Support Company Limited, a consultancy firm, where she worked on different projects funded by multilateral and bilateral development organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, International Finance Corporation, UNDP, JICA, and GIZ. At Keystone, she was responsible for preparing project proposals, conducting financial and economic analysis of different development projects, and contributing to the quarterly digital magazine Keystone Quarterly Review.

Taieba completed her MBA with a major in finance from North South University. She earned her bachelor’s in business administration with a dual major in finance and economics from the same institute. She was awarded with a merit-based scholarship in both her bachelor’s and master’s program. For her extraordinary academic achievement, she received the distinction Summa Cum Laude in the 19th convocation of North South University.
