USAID Bijoyee project is a five-year initiative designed to empower youth aged 18-35 in Bangladesh, with a special focus on women and socially excluded groups. Bijoyee aims to equip these young people with market-ready soft skills, facilitate their access to employment or entrepreneurship opportunities, strengthen youth-led organizations (YLOs), and create an enabling environment for youth engagement. Supported by the Department of Youth Development, CARE Bangladesh, Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC), and eight other local organizations are implementing this project across 18 districts of Bangladesh. This project adopts a gender-responsive and socially inclusive approach, aiming to reach a diverse group of 250,000 youth. The project’s inception took place in June 22, 2023.
