Purpose:

The admissions team make sure that BYLC gets the right candidates who don’t only have the potential and diversity but also the zeal to make their life worth something for the nation. This job combines the roles of Operation, HR, and Marketing, and Administration. The Executive, Admissions is responsible for planning, organizing, maintaining, and managing the processes and operations of admission and registration services for all of BYLC’s leadership programs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and maintain the processes and operations of admission and registration services
  • Develop, recommend, organize, and administer BYLC’s policies and procedures pertaining to the admissions and registration of all students
  • Develop communication plan for admissions and registration of students
  • Maintain regular communications and provide necessary information to BYLC alumni, present students, potential candidates, guardians, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders through email, phone, and physical interaction
  • Collect and analyze a variety of complex data and information regarding admissions, registration, online processes, telephone helpline, and direct services
  • Maintain documentation, security, and confidentiality of student records
  • Present admissions and registration information to a variety of audiences
  • Collaborate with staff, faculty, administrators, and internal departments to research and resolve complex student issues relating to admission, dual enrollment, registration, cancellations, and refunds
  • Research and diagnose issues from a “systems” perspective and design strategies to resolve admissions and registration system
  • Publish the schedule of admissions and registration dates and times
  • Establish and maintain an annual calendar of admissions and registration events and track progress
  • Conduct research to make evidence-based improvements to current methods of on-campus and online leadership courses
  • Ensure documentation of all training related activities
  • Conduct workshops and presentations on leadership in different schools, colleges, and universities across the country
  • Any other admissions related tasks assigned by the supervisor

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

Graduate in Human Resource Management or any relevant field

Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ relevant experience in any educational institute’s admissions process would be an added advantage 
  • Experience in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills

Skills:

  • Proficient in developing and maintaining database using MS excel and/or MS access

Executive, Marketing and Communication (Chattagram)

The main role of executive, Marketing and Communication would be promoting BYLC programs to the potential customers through both online and offline activities. He/she will be mainly be responsible working with the Marketing and communication team in designing and implementing effective promotion campaigns in different education institutes and building developing relationships with relevant stakeholders.

  • Coordinate campus marketing and outreach activities for BYLC’s leadership training programs 
  • Coordinate with schools, college, and university administrators to conduct campaigns

  • Recruit, train and mentor campus ambassadors across Bangladesh who will be the informal spokespersons and promoters of BYLC programs

Purpose:

The prime responsibility of the Executive, Accounts is to track and maintain the day-to-day accounts activities of branch office.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Issue payments against invoices on time by either cheque or cash. Must ensure all expenses are approved and justified with necessary supporting documents according to IFRC/BYLC’s policies and procedures;
  • Post and allocate expenses and receipts to Tally (accounting software)
  • Manage petty cash as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Support monthly and year-end closing procedure;
  • Assist in preparing and processing cash forecast for the delegation in a timely manner;
  • Maintain all financial documents
  • Assist in identifying variances in actual expenditure and the budget;
