For eight years, the BYLC Run has brought together thousands of participants in a shared commitment to health, purpose, and community. In 2026, this legacy continues with renewed ambition, featuring both the classic 7.5K route and a new 15K distance for those ready to take their fitness journey further. Guided by this year’s theme, “Healthy Youth, Stronger Nation,” the run highlights the important role of youth well-being in building a stronger Bangladesh.

Awards
All runners who fulfill the conditions given below will each receive a medal and an ecertificate of participation.
In addition, awards in the following categories will be presented:
Fastest Runner: 1st prize, 2nd prize, and 3rd prize
Under 15 : 1st prize
Over 50: 1st prize
Rules
Only registered runners will be allowed to participate in the run on Friday, April 24, 2026
Anyone, who is physically fit and able to run 7.5 kilometers or 15 kilometers, regardless of age, can register for the run
Each runner must get stamped at the end of the run
The maximum time to complete the run is 75 minutes for 7.5 km and 135 minutes for 15 km; runners who complete the run after the cut-off time will not receive medal

What should I wear during the run?
Participants must wear the BYLC t-shirt during the run to be eligible for a medal. Running shoes are also recommended for better performance and comfort.
Can I store my personal items at the venue?
No, BYLC will not provide storage facilities or take responsibility for personal belongings at the venue.
Can I wear headphones during the run?
Yes, you may wear headphones, but it is advised to keep the volume low and remain aware of your surroundings for safety reasons.
Are there hydration points for the runners?
Yes, there will be hydration points with water located along the running track to keep participants hydrated.
Will there be trash cans?
Yes, trash cans will be placed shortly after each hydration point. Participants are encouraged to use them to help keep the event area clean.
Will there be car parking facilities?
No, there will not be any car parking facilities at the venues. Participants are requested to arrange their own parking.
What about the safety of the runners?
Private security personnel will be deployed at both venues to ensure the safety and security of all participants during the event.
Is there a prayer facility at the venue? (Applicable to Muslims only)
No, we do not have a dedicated prayer facility at the venue.
