BYLC Development Sector Career Expo 2022 is a career fair that will be held on August 13, 2022 for university students, fresh graduates, and young professionals interested in starting their career in this sector. The first-of-its-kind career expo will bring together development sector employers, experts, as well as aspiring professionals under a single platform. Moreover, the expo will deliver comprehensive development sector-specific guidelines through career counseling services, such as resume assessments, mock interviews, and direct networking opportunities with industry leaders.
Apart from networking opportunities with potential employers, the expo will prepare participants with the skills required to thrive in the development sector. You will also be get the opportunity to:
● Engage with 20+ development sector employers and youth organizations
● Avail career counseling from industry experts
● Get your resumes vetted
● Avail a mock interview taken by experienced development sector professionals
● Enroll in an online course featuring assessments that generate skill scorecards
● Be part of the growing BYLC alumni network
● Take part in spot interview and get the chance to be hired
There will be two sections of this Career Expo. The program will start with two days of career camp with a refresher workshop on customizing resumes, effective job application, skill assessment test, and acing interviews, then two days of job showcasing by 30+ employers followed by two days of interviews by employers who will do on-the-spot recruitment.

You can participate in the BYLC Development Sector Career Expo 2022 by complete any career
development-related online courses available at x.bylc.org. We recommend the course, Kick-start Your Career, but you can complete any of the professional development courses on BYLCx
Once you have successfully registered, you will be added to the Facebook group created for the purpose of assisting all the participants of the Career Expo. Through this group, you may avail any necessary information that may help your better understanding.
You will need to submit your updated resume at the time of registration. After you complete the registration, we will send it to our experts who will then suggest edits you can make to make your resume attractive for potential employers in the development sector.
Our mock interview sessions can only be availed by students who are fresh graduates or soon-to-be graduates, as they will be eligible to enter the job market soon.

You can avail any information from the Facebook group where you will be added after registering for the expo. For personal assistance, you will be divided into groups after registration.
