Purpose:

The Assistant Manager, Creative will directly contribute to the promotion of BYLC ensuring brand awareness and visibility.

Major responsibilities (detailed job description will be available for short listed candidates):

● Plan and design engaging, creative, and innovative contents for print and social media (both video and static)
● Create unique and creative content through graphic designing, digital visual effects, motion graphics, and video editing for social media using the latest trends in visual solutions
● Design brochures, annual reports, posters, logos, banners, and ads (print, outdoor, and digital), digital contents, and other communication & publication materials
● Lead and coordinate program documentation (photography and cinematography) of BYLC campaigns and events
● Create communication materials by using softwares like- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro or any other motion graphics & animation software
● Create and maintain brand manual and guidelines of BYLC
● Review design drafts by Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications, and make revisions based on the feedback received
● Be updated on presentation, design trends, and tools and share with team

Desired candidate profile:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field

Experience: 3-5 years, with at least 1.5 - 2 years in a managerial role

Purpose:

Lead, oversee and manage the Finance Department of BYLC (which includes Accounts and Procurement) effectively, efficiently, maintaining the highest quality, compliance, standards, value for money, in line with BYLC’s values, vision, mission and goal.

● Lead and manage financial accounting, procurement, and reporting

Education:

● Post-graduation in Finance and Accounting from any reputed university with a good academic record. No 3rd division/class will be allowed
● Course completed in Chartered Accountancy from a reputed CA firm. Qualified/partly qualified in chartered accountancy will get added advantages
● Relevant training as needed for the position

Experience:

● Minimum of 10 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in a similar leadership position in finance in the NGO sector
● Managing Finance including Budgets, Accounts, Procurement, and Administration
● Managing NGOAB and other regulatory authorities, VAT, TAX, legal affairs, donor and Board reporting
● Working with media, government, private sector, international/local NGO, donor agencies, academia, education and training institutions

Purpose:

The Trainer will work under the USAID Bijoyee Activity project of BYLC, which is the strategic partner of CARE Bangladesh, including some other partner organizations. The project focused on a comprehensive Initiative focused on empowering and engaging young people in Bangladesh. It aims to address various aspects of youth development, including education, skill building soft skills, creating the environment for employment, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and social inclusion as stated in project documents.

The Trainer will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of the capacity building, learning, facilitating, and training activity with the collaboration of all engaged stakeholders. S/He will ensure its successful execution and timely completion of work under the guidance of the Master Trainer, Skills and Employment Manager Dhaka North team of BYLC. This position will be based in Dhaka North, Gazipur and Manikgonj district under Dhaka North Hub of USAID Bijoyee Activity Project, BYLC.

Core responsibilities:

Strategic: (10%)


● Closely work with the Master Trainer, Skills and Employment Manager of BYLC for developing and designing the training curriculum including suggestions for updates and improvements in align with project goal
● Responsible for implementing and monitoring the training activities in the Hub
● Responsible for conducting cultural orientation classes in accordance with USAID Bijoyee Activity and BYLC guidelines and the curriculum developed by BYLC and provide training for a variety of wide range of participant groups of beneficiaries
● Must understand the NEET and EET youth-related issues in respective project areas

Operational: (75%)

● Responsible for classroom sessions and learning of beneficiaries of the spoke office and Hub
● Conduct training sessions in other working locations of USAID Bijoyee Activity Project, including remote sessions
● Conduct sessions in the spoke office and Hub and collect data for continuous development in curriculum
● Ensure that all attendance records are maintained in the classroom
● Development and implementation of the training schedule and call list when needed
● Ensure a planned logistical arrangement and the upkeep of project facilities when necessary
● Reporting, documentation and communication with BYLC Skills Development and Training Team

People Management and Relationship Building: (15%)

● Manage/ communicate/ collaborate and Networking/ Monitoring and Evaluation of training participants
● Manage and ensure different initiatives for the capacity building of beneficiaries
● Ensure a collaboration network with local authorities, parents, and other relevant stakeholders

The Trainer will lead the Training under Dhaka North Hub of USAID Bijoyee Activity team for achieving having:

1) Understanding of design curriculum and facilitation for soft skills training
2) Strengthen youth leadership through targeted support of local youth-led and youth-serving organizations to promote youth participation as decision-makers and key contributors to individual, household, community, and national well-being.
3) Strengthen youth systems, in partnership with youth, to provide more coordinated and effective services, practices, and policies that embody the principles of BYLC.

Education:

● Master's degree in Social Science/MED background with good academic result.

Experience:

● At least 01 year(s) similar level of experiences
● Experience in training and project field management in NGO/ development organization
● Experience in training, learning, and development management for USAID Funded project is mandatory

The Administration and Procurement Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Finance and Administration Manager to ensure the overall administrative, procurement and logistics support through the management of office premises, inventory, safety & security, office vehicles, and office support staff with the collaboration of all departments places in Dhaka North Hub, Manikgonj and Gazipur districts with USAID Bijoyee Project team, BYLC. S/He will ensure its successful execution and timely completion of work under the guidance of CARE and BYLC Bangladesh. This position will be based in Dhaka under Dhaka North Hub of USAID Bijoyee Project, BYLC.

Office Management:

● Overall Office maintenance by ensuring any requisition/ request by staff regarding office premises issues/ concerns
● Ensure office cleaning and seating arrangement are properly in place
● Ensure a standard official and staff-friendly healthy and hygienic environment is in place
● Ensure standard and cost-effective office maintenance
● Ensure an inclusive and gender-based office room and washroom set up in place
● Ensure that all equipment and furniture are properly handled by the staff and respective
● Ensure that the office complies with regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OHS) and ensure that task teams are formed and responsible for office security and First Aid
● Ensure that the cell phone bill is updated regularly with the names of all the users
● Supervise the activities of the Office Supervisor, Office Assistants and Driver

Procurement:

● Review procurement packs including completion of checklists, purchase requisitions, quotations, justifications memos, and other documentation to ensure that company policy was adhered to, the necessary quality checks and confirmations were done
● Ensure that no goods are delivered and/or services rendered without the necessary procurement process followed
● Manage the full procurement process, including preparing procurement plans in line with project needs and budget
● Obtain and evaluate quotes, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services
● Ensure compliance with USAID procurement regulations and organizational policies
● Maintain a file wherein all signed purchase orders and supporting quotations are filed for easy reference and to facilitate future audits
● Ensure that contractors fulfill all requirements in the scope of work as agreed before payment of fees
● Ensure that the necessary SLAs are in place, updated, and planned for in time and that the procurement committee meets in time to ensure that the processes and approvals are transparent

● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. A diploma or certification in procurement or logistics will be an added advantage.

● Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and relevant experience in procurement and administration, preferably within a USAID-funded project or NGO context

Purpose:

The Manager of the Skills Development Program (SDP) team will be responsible for the overall management of BYLC's leadership and skills enhancement programs and relevant initiatives. In addition, the Manager will also be involved in business development, representing BYLC in the public and private sectors. Major Responsibilities

Administrative Functions:

● Overall office maintenance, ensuring the office space is cleaned and the seating arrangement are properly in place
● Ensure a professional, staff-friendly, healthy, and hygienic environment is in place

● Ensure that supporting documentation is available for all entries in the inventory register book/ software
● Maintain a system to track inventory movement between agreed locations and/or use by current staff or visiting delegates from other offices
● Ensure that the office has adequate insurance cover for its inventory items as required
● Oversee and coordinate travel authorization submissions and travel bookings for the staffs
● Facilitate efficient coordination of conferences, workshops, meetings, and travel in accordance with organization’s policy
● Supervise the activities of the floor-supervisors, support staffs, and drivers
● Ensure that the office complies with regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OHS) and form necessary teams responsible for office security and First Aid
● Ensure Safety and Security Policy/ Emergency Contingency policy are in place in the organization
● Review the Admin Policy regularly and suggest amendments to the supervisor to ensure compliance with organizational values and country laws

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:
