Purpose:

The Assistant Manager, Creative will directly contribute to the promotion of BYLC ensuring brand awareness and visibility.

Major responsibilities (detailed job description will be available for short listed candidates):

● Plan and design engaging, creative, and innovative contents for print and social media (both video and static)
● Create unique and creative content through graphic designing, digital visual effects, motion graphics, and video editing for social media using the latest trends in visual solutions
● Design brochures, annual reports, posters, logos, banners, and ads (print, outdoor, and digital), digital contents, and other communication & publication materials
● Lead and coordinate program documentation (photography and cinematography) of BYLC campaigns and events
● Create communication materials by using softwares like- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro or any other motion graphics & animation software
● Create and maintain brand manual and guidelines of BYLC
● Review design drafts by Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications, and make revisions based on the feedback received
● Be updated on presentation, design trends, and tools and share with team

Desired candidate profile:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field

Experience: 3-5 years, with at least 1.5 - 2 years in a managerial role

Required technical skills:

● Proficient in using Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere pro)

Purpose:

Lead, oversee and manage the Finance Department of BYLC (which includes Accounts and Procurement) effectively, efficiently, maintaining the highest quality, compliance, standards, value for money, in line with BYLC’s values, vision, mission and goal.

● Lead and manage financial accounting, procurement, and reporting
● Develop and implement financial strategies for organizational growth and sustainability

Experience:

● Minimum of 10 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in a similar leadership position in finance in the NGO sector
● Managing Finance including Budgets, Accounts, Procurement, and Administration

Purpose:

The Executive, Human Resource Management & Development will be responsible to ensure and support the HR relevant tasks with close collaboration of line manager and other HR team members for ensuring proper execution of all HR engagement & operational activities.

● Assist in screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding employees as per organizational needs

Purpose:

The Manager- Finance and Accounts position will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager, Finance & Accounts for ensuring the execution and coordination of the Finance and Accounts and Procurement functions in different projects and programme areas of BYLC. Purpose:

The Manager of the Skills Development Program (SDP) team will be responsible for the overall management of BYLC's leadership and skills enhancement programs and relevant initiatives. In addition, the Manager will also be involved in business development, representing BYLC in the public and private sectors. Purpose:

The purpose of the position is to record, summarize, and analyze the financial transactions in the books of accounts to support the organization in the preparation of a standard financial reporting system. He/she is responsible for the compliance of any legal and regulatory aspects.

● Manage daily financial transactions like cash management, receivables, payables, banking, and record transactions in Tally (accounting software)
● Issuing payments against invoices on time. Must ensure all expenses are approved and justified with necessary supporting documents according to IFRS/BYLC’s policies and procedures
● Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
● Prepare the vouchers on the basis of the day-to-day financial transactions for recording with proper authorization and approval as well as booking them accordingly
● Ensures VAT and Tax deductions are compliant with Government rules and regulations
● Prepare the treasury challans, deposit those to the bank on time, and issue copies to the respected vendors accordingly
● Assists in identifying variances in actual expenditure and the budget
● Establish an effective filing system that can provide easy access to information and proper documentation of all financial requirements
● Work collaboratively with colleagues on the team, and make a proactive contribution delivering departmental and corporate objectives

Proposal:

This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our organization and will assist in the day-to-day operations of BYLC’s Information Technology department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development principles, and the ability to lead or mentor a team of developers.

Responsibilities:

Strategic (10%):


● Collaborate with department lead and other operational departments to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements and automation
● Ensure that the software development process aligns with industry best practices and standards

● Design UX to show prototype of software before development

Purpose:

The Access to Finance and Entrepreneurship Officer will work under the USAID Bijoyee Activity of BYLC, which is the strategic partner of CARE Bangladesh, including some other partner organizations. The project focused on a comprehensive Initiative focused on empowering and engaging young people in Bangladesh. It aims to address various aspects of youth development, including education, skill building soft skills, creating the environment for employment, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and social inclusion as stated in project documents.

The Access to Finance and Entrepreneurship Officer will play a critical role in identifying and creating entrepreneurship opportunities while ensuring that young entrepreneurs have access to the necessary financial resources and support. This individual will be responsible for mapping the local market, developing programs, and providing training and technical assistance to youth participants in areas such as business planning, financial management, and marketing. He will be based in Dhaka North Hub, USAID Bijoyee Activity.

Purpose:

Under direct supervision of Manager, Finance and Accounts, the Deputy Manager, Finance & Accounts plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of BYLC. He/ she will oversee various financial activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, grant management, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for contributing to positive social change.

Major responsibilities (detailed job description will be available for short-listed candidates)

● Ensure BYLC’s strategies, project goals, policies, plans, and guidelines are properly maintained.
● Assist in the development of annual budgets in collaboration with program managers and other stakeholders.
● Monitor budget performance regularly and provide insights to management on variances and trends.
● Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders, board members, and donors.
● Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and grant agreements.
● Develop and maintain financial reporting templates and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
● Manage the financial aspects of grants, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
● Liaise with program teams to ensure accurate tracking of grant expenditures and adherence to donor requirements.
● Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
● Conduct periodic audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and mitigate financial risks.
● Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the nonprofit sector.
● Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster a culture of financial transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
● Provide guidance and support to finance team members, including mentoring and training as needed.

Desired candidate profile:

Education:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
● Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA or ACCA part qualified) preferred

Experience:

● 6 to 8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector

Purpose:

The purpose of the position is to be responsible for maintaining petty cash, preserving project wise bills and vouchers, and ensuring Treasury Challan is prepared, deposited, and issued on time.

● Ensure BYLC’s Strategies and project goals, policies, plans, and guidelines are properly maintained
● Support to enhance on to establish strategies for organizational and institutional development, growth, and sustainability
● Daily cash and petty cash management
● Checking all claims properly supported by the receipts and disburse the cash payments
● Prepare the treasury challans, deposit those to the bank on time, and issue the copies to the respected vendors accordingly
● Collect the approvals from a delegated authority on the bills and vouchers
● Preserve and keep filing the project-wise vouchers, bank statements, utility bills, and all other documents
● Provide support to the finance team for preparing different kinds of reports
● Support the Internal and External Auditor
● Assist the team with any kind of workshop for the staff development
● Support and guide the team on a regular basis on preparing and filling all kinds of claims, advance adjustments, PR, ERF etc.

Desired candidate profile:

Education:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
● Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA or ACCA part qualified) preferred

Experience:

● A minimum of 4-5 years of working experience in finance and accounts
● Experience in working in international/local NGO or donor agencies

Professional qualification:

● Course completed in Chartered Accountancy from a reputed CA firm
