Children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow. Through the Leadership For Kids program, we hope to instill the skills and values required for them to realize their full potential.
For the past 13 years, BYLC has been committed to equipping youth with leadership, problem solving, and communication skills. Having taught leadership to more than 6,000 high school, college, and university students, we have come to realize that there is great value in instilling empathy, creativity, and changemaking at an early age.
In 2020, BYLC launched Leadership for Kids (LFK), a four-week-long online leadership program designed for young children from all over Bangladesh.
Classes will be held online and will include core leadership content through interactive activities such as puzzles, interactive videos, mindfulness exercises, group discussions, case studies, public speaking, and games. To facilitate and assess students’ learning outcomes, unique in-class assessments and engaging project work will be delegated through which students will be able to display their leadership, creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Workbooks will also be made available to students. Students will be able to creatively showcase their learnings in these workbooks as they can freely express their feelings, emotions, and views through text, images, or drawings.
